Kids agains waste it’s part of Childrenshare, the cultural initiative dedicated to children and designed by Expo Milano 2015 in collaboration with Fondazione MUBA Museo dei Bambini Milano.It’s a project that seeks to show children the causes for food waste along the entire chain (from growing to harvest, to distribution, to transformation, to sales, to consumption). It is an idea of Alessandro Garlandini and Clara Giardina and it has been produced thanks to the support of Auchan Spa, Comieco, Nidoboard and Cartonarredo.
In the exhibition as well are shown a collection of products made of new materials produced using agricultural and food waste: bowls made of bread crumbs, paper produced from fruit skins, sunglasses made from rice husks from the companies as Alisea Recycled & Reused Objects Design; Blasetti S.p.A; Favini srl; Future Power srl; Gruppo Cordenons Spa; Miniwiz; OOOBJECT; Spyro Skizis Design; useDesign Studio; Whomade srl; Yothaka International Co., Ltd.
